Overview
The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch's Audit and Compliance Division
routinely audits B.C. gaming sites, licensees and grant recipients. Commercial
gaming facilities receive regular compliance reviews.
These audits help to ensure all gaming in the province is conducted in
accordance with gaming legislation, directives, policies, and procedures.
Included on this web site are audit reports of commercial casinos and of
registered ticket raffle licensees. Links to the reports are provided below.
These audit reports have been severed in accordance with the following sections of the
Freedom of Information and Protection
of Privacy Act (FOIPPA):
- Harm to Law Enforcement, Section 15
The information, if released, may impact the effectiveness of branch investigations into
alleged gaming violations.
- Harm to Financial or Economic Interests of a Public Body, Section 17
The information, if released, could reveal trade secrets of the public body, have monetary
value, or result in undue financial gain or loss to a third party.
- Harm to Business Interests of a Third Party, Section 21
The information, if released, could harm the ability of the business to compete in
the marketplace.
- Harm to Personal Privacy, Section 22
The information, if released, could result in an unreasonable invasion of an
individual's personal privacy.
