Liquor Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB)
LCLB issues licences in B.C. for making and selling liquor (either by the glass or bottle) and supervises the service of liquor in licensed establishments.


Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB)
LDB regulates the distribution, importation and retailing of beverage alcohol in B.C. and operates over 200 government liquor stores in the province. For information about the Liquor Distribution Branch, please see the BC Liquor Stores site.


Online Services
You can renew your liquor licence, apply for a liquor licence for your restaurant (Food-Primary) or if you are selling your restaurant, you can complete the 'agreement to transfer' paperwork online

Liquor Compliance and Enforcement Summary Report — released
The results of 4,354 compliance-related inspections of liquor establishments in British Columbia were released today by the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch.

Province Implements Olympic Liquor Licence Rules
Government has approved regulations that include details about a new, temporary Olympic/Paralympic liquor licence designed to enable the licensing of events and venues which do not fit within the structure of the current liquor licensing regime. Read more here.
